I actually forgot I had a blog. Then a few days ago I received an interesting box in the mail.
Who doesn't like to receive boxes? This was a small one, and I had not ordered anything, so it was a complete surprise. I opened it and there was a beautifully packaged .....how should I say it.....what should I call it?????
IT WAS DEODORANT...............hmmmm is someone trying to tell me something?
It was from the people at DOVE. A new product, had not even hit the market yet, although it may be there now.

Beautiful soft pink packaging, and the scent is sooooooo heavenly. I have not used it yet, but it is supposed to make your underarms look smoother, the longer you use it, the smoother you look, and the smooth look will last longer. I am anxious to get started. I have a bunch of coupons for

I miss you guys!

I know that life has gotten in the way and this poor blog has paid the ultimate price...lol!

That being said, I thought I would toss something against the wall and see what stuck! There is a challenge over at Scrap Your Crap and I did this first, but felt uber conservative, so I backed up, threw my hat in with something else and decided to see if someone else was lurking here!

Orange Inspired LO

Hey guys, here is one of my contributions to this months color challenge: ORANGE....
I used various shades of orange for this. I LOVE mixing pattern paper, especially different companies. Can't wait to see what you all are creating.

Orange=Fall

This is my Favorite time of year.

I am so excited to be on this side of the country for Fall. Alaska was beautiful but you had to be on top of things to catch the changing of the colors. Before you knew it it would snow and all the leaves would be gone.

I haven't done many layouts with orange so it will be a nice challenge. I look forward to seeing what you Ladies come up with.

Orange: Defined

Alright guys! It's time for a new color! This month we are going with my FAVORITE...well one of them...ORANGE!!

Orange combines the energy of red and the happiness of yellow. It is associated with joy, sunshine, and the tropics. Orange represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement, and stimulation.

To the human eye, orange is a very hot color, so it gives the sensation of heat. Nevertheless, orange is not as aggressive as red.

Orange increases oxygen supply to the brain, produces an invigorating effect, and stimulates mental activity. It is highly accepted among young people. As a citrus color, orange is associated with healthy food and stimulates appetite.

Orange is the color of fall and harvest. In heraldry, orange is symbolic of strength and endurance.

Orange has very high visibility, so you can use it to catch attention and highlight the most important elements of your design.

Orange is very effective for promoting food products and toys.

Dark orange can mean deceit and distrust.

Red-orange corresponds to desire, sexual passion, pleasure, domination, aggression, and thirst for action.

Gold evokes the feeling of prestige. The meaning of gold is illumination, wisdom, and wealth. Gold often symbolizes high quality.

Love Green

Green is one of my happy colors. It makes me think of spring, fresh smells, early morning sunrise. I just love green!!! Here is a LO of DD playing in the dirt.
